Today's offensive performance is on Cam

Hell no it isn't.. Playcalling and Oline play way more than Cam..

You wasted 3 paragraphs for nothing..

In the NFL a quarterback has 3 seconds to make a play. You can't blame the oline if you get 3 seconds. Cam constantly takes 4 to 5 seconds to make a decision. It is not rust, it decision making and right now Cam is struggling. Period.

Cam is Cam.  He is an NFL MVP when he's on.  When he's off, he tends to overthrow and his long stride 7 step drop backs are striders.  Just watch how quickly other QBs shuffle their feet back; it's not recognized, and Shula running these long developing these long routes from single back or I continue to kill us.  OLs throughout the league get swallowed up but most QBs can still do quick drop offs and throwaways.  Our play designs don't allow for this.  Like at all.

I The bulk of our issues today was the offensive play calling. We didn't take advantage of matchups and we're mot using CMC effectively. We ran the ball a lot on 1st downs, even when tbe defense was showing that they were expecting run. We started off with 2nd and long to many times. We still have too many long developing routes, where Cam is waiting for it to develop.

Cam is still holding tbe ball to long nut i find it hard to blame him fir most of that because of the above. However, Cam does get 100% of the blame for overthrows. This is something that he cam in the league with and its still in his game, thats on him.

The o-line did a very good job of protecting Cam but missed a few assignments on double A Gaps blitzes. Although Matt Kalil was just simply beat once, i think the 1st sack.

We have to ne able to adapt at any point in the game on both sides of the ball, if needed.

LOL, some of y'all would complain about a good BJ.  The Panthers won with Cam regaining confidence, his primary target out, key OL out.  He ain't gonna be Brady, he will continue to overthrow and miss some open receivers.  It's a catch 22, notice after he scrambles and makes sugar out of sht, he's a bit off. He's tired. Even the overthrow was after he scrambled when it would've sack 7 for some other QBs.

This is our offense, slow developing plays downfield with a solid running game and a stout D.  That's the formula and majority of the investment.

It's a W in the NFL...worry about all that other crap if we lose next game.

I'm also waiting on the QB y'all will replace him with to make things better with this scheme.

63% 200 yards passing and no TO while being crushed all game..

Good job Cam..

Shula and the Oline needs to step up...

Are you going to blame Shula for the Dickson overthrow? The 2 playclock penalties and the obvious CB blitz sack that Cam failed to see?

I mean I'm not saying Shula is blameless but I 'm tired of people not calling out Cam's faults when they're this obvious.

63% completion.

7+ ypa.

Zero interceptions.

Yes, Cam missed two wide open throws. But, yet again and again and again and again, just like year after year with the Panthers, if you think Cam is the problem you're either delusional or you have an agenda.

    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
