Does literally no one consider the other side of these equations? How do you think Shula feels, forced to stick to a simple, retrograde scheme that his QB can execute, despite having expressed a a clear desire to evolve the offense?

It's more that Cam is wasting Mike Shula's prime than the other way around.

Cam isn't healthy so these debates are pointless.

When healthy, It's hard to argue that Cam doesn't make every team in the division better. I'm not trying to discredit Brees but he's 38 now.

I like Newton. However if he is the greatest Athlete to ever play QB he needs to improve on some aspects of his game. He's smart and has all the tools and ability in the world. He can do better with the finer points of the game.

As for Shula and Rivera what is their excuse for their continuous screw ups which should not be happening to a coach..At least Cam has fatigue and pain to use for an excuse.
