biggest issue is we have a nerfed version of Cam right now.  That is the bigger issue than Shula.  The nerfed version of Cam dictates defensive schemes.   Defenses will sell out more to stop CMC and Stewart and the run because they know Cam's throwing ability is off.

okay but CMC is a running back that's not Cam's job to help him break tackles and get through the hole he goes down on first contact. 8 car for 10 yards is Cam's fault?

It is Cam's job to not have the opposing defenses overplaying the run game.  He has to make them pay the price downfield.  He can't right now.  He is too inconsistent right now and it isn't the standard inconsistent Cam stuff we use to.

McCoy didn't have 6 yards last week because he sucks.  He didn't have 6 yards just because we have a great defense.  He had 6 yards also because of Taylor and the Buffalo pass game.

I think CMC can be a running back its mostly oline and coordinator fault. I look at other teams using similar type of rb's such as NE shoot and sf is using hyde the correct way. I honestly think while coaches are frustrated with execution, most times in the game plays are being called to either figure out flow of new offense ( game plan for both games have been way different but not effective) and to play it safe. I say this because there are times where the play called is a great one and we are on the move. And i dont mean the opposing defense missed  the assignment or fell down no i mean the play forced them to choose and allowed big or clutch play. But this type of play call doesnt happen untill they feel "desperate" which shows me that its possible just not being shown.

dalvin cook (2nd round pick) is averaging 5.6 ypc up in Minnesota with mike remmers as one of his tackles and a poo QB.

imho if he can't get over 100 combined yards and a td against the worst defense in NFL history it would be time for the CMC homers to take off the shades. if not then, then when??

Yes guy, panic your little heart away. Melvin Gordon is a bust too based on his first season. I could probably list hundreds other players as well.

I was very much against McCaffrey being the pick, and i'm not here to say i was right or wrong, its way to early.  But the fact was and still is that i was not at all confidant that Shula would use him correctly.  We threw to RB's the least (percentage wise) in the entire league in his tenure here, i didn't expect it to change much and it hasent.  He continues to try and push McCaffrey up the middle when everybody can see he would be better off on outside runs and in space.  The Panthers needed a guy for short yardage pickups so that Cam didn't have to get beat up getting them anymore, and that was Fournette.  Once he was gone the pick should have been  Malik Hooker.  I'll root for McCaffrey, i want him to succeed, and hes really not playing as bad as people are making it out to be.  But until Shula is gone, hes a wasted pick as i feared.

Eh I dont think Hooker would have been the right choice and I will reserve to see these next 3 games before Shula's gameplanning with CMC becomes a concern. It is possible he is hiding his hand until at the Patriots game knowing BB is a magician at shutting things down, so if we dont reveal that prior to the game it could be an advantage. Thats the best case scenario.
