If we can get Kalil and Olsen back mid to late season that would be huge. The league is ripe for the taking this year. If we can get to the playoffs anything can happen.

its really no way to speed up a broken bone but he could be healed by 6 weeks and not 8 or 9 weeks

Regardless, he can not practice until Week 8 or play until Week 10, if I remember correctly.  But still great news to see good progress.

I believe the earliest he could play is week 11 but since that is our bye, he won't be back until week 12 against the Jets. He has to be out a minimum of 8 weeks.

That's right, It happened week 2, and they IR-DR the Friday before the Saints game didn't they.

I'm fine with that. Let's just get to that point in decent shape and have him come back 100% and well rested for the last 1/4 of the season and playoffs

That's actually fantastic. He gets a bonus week of rest/rehab out of the boot with no pressure to come back too early.
