Wilks on Luke's condition

Hasn't Vontez Burfict had like 15 concussions in his career? He keeps coming back. This is really great news to hear about Luke.

Not a very good example. Luke and Burfict can't be rationally used in the same sentence, unless you're comparing opposites. I only found three reports of NFL concussions for him with one additional possible event. However, there probably have been 15 instances of fines and egregiously dirty plays, many of which would be felonies off the field and carry a sentence of 15 years, so there's that.

Newton is the one we need to be worried about. His shoulder got fuged up last night, Im still convinced he messed something up in it.

Probably brusided it , the long week came in at the right time .The coaches should make the OL take extra run blocking reps

I hear ya on this.  I was at the game so didn't get the hear the commentary or see replay's on some of those weird nowhere near the wr throws in the 4th Qtr or so.  I was wondering either wr ran wrong route, cam read it wrong, or his shoulder.

I’m friends with someone who spoke to Luke on the phone today (they are friends)

Apparently Luke didn’t even bring up the concussion   And as they were getting off the phone my friend said something like ‘we’ll go.see that (referring to blade runner 2049) when you get better’ and he responded with something to the tune of I’m fine.

So take that as you will.

Great news!  Thanks for sharing that.

FWIW I got news from a reliable personal source that he's fine and they just wanted to keep him out. Source is a friend, so I would never have posted it as "credible", but it matches what Wilks is saying so it's reassuring that he may be fine and they were being super cautious - which makes sense.

Perplexing that 24 hours removed from being placed in the concussion protocol the Panther organization could be complicit with putting Luke back on the field.

If I'm Luke, (or perhaps Luke's family I insist he) I seek second opinions.

I'm not following

What are you referring to? They don't hit the field the day after a game. Its typically Wednesday on a normal week. A day of meetings, film and Rehab/weights on day after game and then the next day is an off day.
