The Panthers offense is slow and dumb

Does it fall on the offensive coordinator? Many think so. But he’s not the one on the field not hustling to the line to spike the ball at the end of the half. He’s not the one standing at the line until the playclock is at 1 second before every play. He is the one calling runs up the middle on almost every 1st down.

Does it fall on the QB? He’s not the one dropping passes or missing blocks.

Whatever it is, this offense is slow and dumb. And it’s losing the Panthers games.

When the entire unit is as inept as it is, it starts up top. Has Cam struggled? Absolutely. Have the receivers struggled? Absolutely. Has the OL struggled? Absolutely. Running backs? Absolutely. So where do you start? At the top, with Shula and Rivera for allowing Shula to stay.

It’s the 4th quarter down by two scores. Isn’t it time to run the no huddle? No. They waste the entire playclock again calling every play. Slow and dumb.

It feels like I’m watching the 2010 panthers today.

No sense of urgency. No gameplan to comeback from a defecit. The offense is playing as if they are winning.

The number one question this team needs to be asked after the game is - “Where is the urgency?” 

They look lazy and pathetic out there on offense.
