JETS -L

SAINTS-W

VIKINGS-W

PACKERS-W

BUCS-W

FALCONS-W

CONCLUSION - 9 and 8 record , just missed the playoffs but ended positive and shula and rivera are both safe . it will end exactly like it did in the past and this is me being positive.  my negative prediction is 7 and 9.

I could see that happen actually . Lose alot of games in the mid stretch but win late in the season when Rivera + Shula start to realize they'll both be canned if they turn in another 6-10 season.

I dont see us beating the Saints at their place if we couldnt even come close to beating them at home. After this loss to the Bears, I'm pretty sure any team left on our schedule could beat us handily. I wouldn't be surprised if we turn in a 6-10 or 7-9 , that's what its smelling like right now.

Probably on our way to 7-9. The worse we do the better the draft picks. We need high pick offensive linemen. We are in danger of Cam suffering a serious injury this season. Nothing we can do about it now, but the draft will offer better o-linemen to protect Cam and open rushing lanes.

at BUCS-L (4-4)

vs FALCONS-L (4-5)

vs Dolphins - W (5-5)

bye

at JETS -L (5-6)

at SAINTS- L (5-7)

vs VIKINGS- L (5-8)

PACKERS-W (6-8)

BUCS-W (7-8)

FALCONS-W (8-8)

This is the best prediction I could think of. 8-8 sounds about right to me and summarizes this team/franchise perfectly.

at worst I could see us going 5-11 with our only subsequent win coming against the Packers. Falcons and Bucs games could be toss ups since they don't look to hot either right now.

We might sweep the Bucs, but I hope not. This team needs draft help badly. 5-11 would be best for our future.

That is literally the worst possible scenario

Yeah, that is just BS to be rooting for a better draft pick.  I can see rooting to lose so that Rivera/Shula are gone, but hoping for a better draft position is just asinine.  We can still win this division, and obviously the NFC is wide open come playoff time with Rodgers out

    • I am not sure it should be a ‘sell out to go to the SB’ season. And hope they don’t.  At the same time I was thinking you absolutely must find out if you want to pay for Bryce or not. That means putting it on him. No protecting and trying to hide weaknesses with the run game and a super conservative calls.  So I wish they would do it and find out, win or lose, 2026. No more developing. Time to do it. Let’s see once and for all.
    • My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick.  I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble.  I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs.
