If We Go 6-10 Again, Shula , Rivera , Dorsey, Hurney all gone, Who Do You Hire and Why?

So if the nightmare senario comes true at least it would lead to a pretty interesting off season. Lets just say you are JR, the fans are getting pretty short tempered with the franchises stagnation 2 years strait after a SB and you decide to make a very bold move, clean house withthe offensive staff and probably let a bunch of veterans go (ex. Stew, R.Kalil, CJ , TD) , what coaches would you bring in as replacements and why? And who would you draft if we had around #8 pick again?

yea I know its early for this poo but I could see this happening if the team continues to poo the bed for the rest of the season. And watching what happen to the Rams after a coaching staff overhaul has me wondering what we could look like with a totally different coaching philosophy and system installed.

Jon Gruden is a popular unlikely name people throw out there, but I'd honestly love to see what he could do with Cam. Leave Wilks in as DC with Gruden as HC basically just controlling game flow and the offense while letting Wilks do his thing with the defense.

Here's my worry with Wilks.

If you promote Wilks, does he go after his own staff or keep the current staff in place?

Obviously, you can make a good argument for keeping the defensive staff in place. But would he fire the offensive staff?

Remember, these are guys that he's been working with the last several years.

Another lazy choice on the surface but I do like Dorsey from the Chiefs, and Scot McCloughan is another solid talent evaluator and GM choice. Both are like DG though... Meaning JR won't come within a foot of them.

OC/QB coach... No idea. Young upcoming guys that the HC wants to bring in works for me. And I don't mean someone like Dorsey...

There's no way Wilks would keep Shula as OC. No way. Maybe if he was promoted to interim he would keep him here during the year but after that, no way.

When it comes to OCs, I actually like fired offensive head coaches.

    • Lol Atlanta looks to have lost their young edge rusher, has no 1st round pick, a complete mess at QB, a new coaching staff… And we swept them this year. Says what they think of us.
    • I mean, you can only go so far with the propping up. When a guy's numbers are as bad overall as Bryce's you have to try to find specific niches to sell. It's just funny that they're honing in on where he's probably weakest to try to prop him up. Whether it's a pro-Bryce conspiracy or not, it echos my chief complaint about PFF's analysis for years. When your purely statistical analysis badly skews from the eye test of actually watching the games, it should be screaming at you that you need to modify your system not double down on it. PFF is awesome at compiling stats but their grade systems are highly flawed and they never seem to try to improve them.
    • Then why is Byce also last in other PFF stats?  The deep ball thrower stat by PFF can simply be flawed vs some conspiracy trying to prop up a QB on a team that a former employee now works for.  Both of these guys were also hired AFTER the Panthers had already drafted Bryce.  Trying to prop him up with a made up stat while he struggled would be a detriment to their own team honestly.
