Ye of so little faith, why are you so afraid?

Sorry, I just don’t get it . Why all the doom and gloom?

Now, before you get your defensive quills erect and ready to fight , let me assure you, I come in peace.

Let me just ask.

Can we take a step back from the over dramatization please? We are so used to seeing hyperbole on our TV’s and our our social media, that it has become the norm. Basically everywhere we look,  negative talking points are echo chambered again and again amongst the people we agree with.

Our arguments are equally refuted with the same ..... “robust”.. uh , let’s say ...”enthusiasm”.

I could continue and go on a @Farachlombardirant but I’m not that enthusiastic. Not preaching, I’ll get to the TL;DR. (Respect your game bro)

Sometimes, when things look the darkest, the only thing you have is hope. Nothing wrong with being a skeptic but don’t let skeptic turn into synic. Faith and hope aren’t a bad thing, it’s what keeps us going.

I can’t control the Panthers decisions nor do I know how they will turn out. I do choose to look at things in a positive way. There is enough to be legitimate upset about. Lets try and roll with the punches and enjoy life and the games a little more, that’s all.

If you have the intestinal fortitude, I challenge you to talk about some things that are going well for the Panthers. (Sarcastic comments have been heard before but we all will not hesitate to pie for originality but.. we do get that non stop) For real, let’s turn that frown upside down. Let’s hear some positive s hit instead of drowning in our own feces.

TL;DR2 - Keep your chin up.

TLDR

the closest this franchise was to consistent greatness was Gettleman. I swear in my life if Gman had full control from top down we would be a dynasty.

You let your retard should be in an old folks home but too rich for that owner make personal pathos decisions because some players get butthurt...  lol.  Look at the Patriots dude. Players get butthurt there all the time..  next man up, stick to the philosphy, run the buiness not a country club.

I lost faith in this franchise when the poopy diaper owner fired the only person in the FO that had a clue what it tool to run a Team.

Are you seriously telling me we fired Gettleman to rehire hurney to trade KB for a third??  What the fug i hope im on a bad shroom trip.

No faith in this franchise till richardson is gone. Im sorry, call me a pos, idc. I hope Cam leaves soon just because i love him as a player and i want him to have a fair shot at success.

Im going to torture bugs tonight.

Great post!

let me be the oddball and say that I think trading KB is a solid move.

I think his value is probably the highest it’s ever going to be considering the quality of play.

He hasn’t turned out to be the Megatron/alpha dominant receiver we wanted out of him. He doesn’t seem to have the spirit or the work ethic to reach that next level. I hope he does, I’m a KB fan, have been from day one. But, let’s be honest, he’s not the #1 that WE need, Cam needs. KB can’t do it, for whatever reasons.

I wouldn't hate this so much if it didn't come coupled with gross incompetence from this team from the top down. It's a certifiable shitshow from Jerry on down and I have zero faith anyone really knows what they're doing.

I’m getting there, but not there just yet ....In the immortal words of Wilson Phillips “things will go your way if you hold on for one more day”

Nobody sleeps on Wilson Phillips.

Funchess isn’t our #1.

He may take that spot for now,  maybe he will step up, but I suspect we are still going to look for our #1 receiver.

I’ll also say that I think Funchess is more clutch and solid than KB. I think Funchess will mature into a badass.

KB and Funchess are essentially the same reciever. I’d have traded KB and invested in Funchess too. It’s a smart move.

we need speed, we need a deep threat to pull these defenses off our line and open up the run. Period.

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
