Cam on Cam trash talk

It seems that Cam Jordan will be like Von Miller soon enough like targeting Cam Newton trying to hurt him and then become irrelevant like Von has nothing more than a short lived good player and Newton will continue while Jordan falls off the grid.

Cams about as clean as can be. He had a shot to destroy Goff this past weekend and didn't.

Also, lol at Von Miller being irrelevant.

Jordan one of those defenders that goes into a game with Cam in his head before the first whistle.....

and that is why Newton does what he does.  Because based on the law of averages.  Being in opponents heads like that favors Newton more times than not.

Jordan spends all week thinking about what if I sack Cam.  What should I do.  What should I say.  How should I try to get the spotlight off him and on me.

This thread is embarassing.  Anyone who thinks this is the trash talk between dudes who hate each other is a moron.  This is lighthearted and shows a mutual respect between these guys.

I think there might be a little bit of animosity here

I agree I think he loves hitting Cam Newton probably wants to do it naked, but Cam says no play...

I just feel he is jealous of Cam or really likes him one if you know what I mean.  He always seems to have something to say about Cam. Out of every defensive end in the NFL he talks about Cam the most.

    • They may be meaningless in the sense of wins and losses but this team isn't yet at a place where that is honestly all that matters  It's full of young players that need to make progress for us to compete consistently and this (multiple players in a year getting it) is evidence that's starting to happen.
    • This argument takes nuance, but I see both sides of it.  Bryce's good games, he's one of the best in the league, without a question. Lately, his really good games have been few and far between, though we are riding on a career best day last week. His bad games are not NFL quality. Hard to argue that as well.  He reminds me of Cam Newton in one way. They are both such statistical anomalies that evaluating them can be extremely difficult. QB roulette is absolutely no path to success. Furthermore, we have literally watched our franchise recently let 3 QBs go that left and proved they could still do it at a high level. I definitely give Bryce this season, and probably next season.  If Bryce can be the good version of Bryce more consistently it's crazy to let him walk. With the inconsistencies too, I think we could probably get a team friendly deal. If he can't bring next year's roster to the playoffs, he's not the guy, period.  I do think Bryce is always going to be a guy that requires a quality offensive line due to his physical limitations. I think we can do it, but it's a factor to consider.  You have to account for that money, and Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt and Taylor Moton are all between 28-31. If he's our guy for the next 10 years, it does appear he's going to have a top quality #1 receiver to get the ball to.
