It's time to bench Kalil

It is beyond Remmers.  I also can't imagine Amini or Moton being much worse.  Give them a try.

He has to be in the coach's doghouse after this game.

He seriously does not block..he just holds the guy as long as he can before they blow by him or just slightly shoves the DE.

Can’t believe we handed this chump a sack of cash when Andrew Whitworth could have been in Carolina. With the vets on this team, adding another that would have actually warranted the price would have gone a long way and given us just enough time to properly address the position in another year or two when Whitworth hangs em up.

Not even just Whitworth.  Considering the cash we gave him there was Reiff, Wagner, a few others.

He held the guy (got flagged for it) and then grabbed the guy's helmet (getting another flag) in the same play AND the guy still hit Cam.

Heck, I can't defend keeping the guy among the starters or even on the team anymore. I had hopes for him, but it's like we bought him mail order without really reading the product description.

That early play when Cam had half an hour then lay down for the sack, he did great. I was hopeful that he might bring his improved form into this game. After that though, it was his penalties that killed us. It won't get any easier for him against the Vikes. So much for the hope that he had turned the corner.

I hate Kalil as much as the next person, but Amini is the last person I want to see on the field. The few times he has come in when Turner got hurt, he looked unbelievably awful (and that is blocking a DT on pass rush). I can't even fathom how terrible he would be blocking ends on the pass rush.

No idea about Moton, but hopefully he and Williams are the starting tackles next season.

Reallllly bad.  Beyond Byron Bell, he's Nate Chandler bad.

Seriously, when he's causing sacks and not getting RBs holes, there's absolutely no reason to keep him out there.  His being on the field is actively hurting the offense and honestly, a big reason why we're not getting it together.

Williams is a pure RT/Guard type so I wouldn't want to try him but Moton should get a look at this point.  We took him right after Dion Dawkins who's done well.  Just try it out.  Kalil needs to be benched.  He's holding the entire offense back.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
