Well, how'd that work out for him?

He also tripped the ref on the way off the field. The guy can coach, but he's a douchebag and I'm glad we don't have a guy like that representing the Panthers. Stoic Ron might piss me off sometimes, but I'd much rather be frustrated by his lack of outward enthusiasm than watch in embarrassment as he acted like Sean Payton on a pill bender.

both opposite sides of the spectrum for-sure. Id like a coach in-between, like a Pete Carrol(though some would consider him flamboyant as Payton)

So you'd rather have Ron than Sean for reasons other than coaching ability?

odd.

I'd personally put up with his immaturity in exchange for SB wins and superior coaching. But I'm a fan of winning, not some weird personal emotional connection to players and coach's characters and morals. Guess everyone enjoys the game for different reasons.

i have mixed feelings about sean payton. i hate the saints, their fans, and the city of new orleans with a burning passion, but i have to admit the swag culture that sean payton has built in NOLA is pretty baller. his go for broke DGAF attitude is flippin sweet juxtaposed with cautious Ron. again cannot reiterate enough how much i hate the saints, their fans, and the city of new orleans. watching sean perform his choke mocking move last nite was pretty awesome and i have to say i enjoyed that thoroughly and we need more of that bad boy swag (like when Shaq Thompson said to Seahawks fans on SnapFace "Fug Yall! Fug the Seahawks! Keep Pounding"). Again, despite all of this, I hate the saints, their fans, and the city of new orleans

Saints head coach Sean Payton apparently likes 28-3 jokes too, though I'd say this one kind of backfired on him (link).

Is this the kind of thing you would want your head coach doing or would you prefer a coach that always behaves professionally?

If anyone knows denial, it's Sean 'vicodin' Partin

i still can't believe how that story just disappeared

He is arrogant and classless and he didn't pay nearly enough for defensive targeting a few years ago
