You could get two feet in the endzone and land 10 feet out of bounds. If the ball becomes dislodged from the ground its incomplete

its not like a fumble crossing the endzone. The runner has had possesion. In order for a WR to be considered to have posesion is if he completed the catch

he didnt complete the catch, therefore he never had possesion

No matter where you are or what you are doung at any point on the feild in or out of bounds if you go to the ground and it moves its inconplete

i was using another example turd breath

You can drop the ball after it crosses the plane numbnuts. Just like you can't fumble after it crosses. He was down, not touched, then moved the ball across. TD.

You are missing the key piece of the puzzle, he never caught the ball. If you already have possession whether as a runner or a receiver who has taken the two steps/made the football move then you can fumble 1 microsecond after crossing the plane.

I was watching with my son and right after they showed the first replay I told him that might not be a catch. Took the announcers a couple minutes to realize the ball moved.

Where your statement is not correct is that he was never down after a completion and then moved the ball across the end zone. He was moving the ball while he was still finishing the catch/going to the ground. If you watch the replay it’s clear that he was going to the ground as he caught it, he wasn’t a runner yet.

Exactly

So pretty much all the NFC top dogs held serve today, our playoff seed remains at #5 seed with a projected wild card matchup at the Superdome vs the Saints

For you guys still cheering for the #2 seed , start cheering for Vikings, Rams, and Saints to lose their last two games or at least 1 of the last 2.

Good thing with the Seahawks losing, the greatly increases our chances to make the playoffs . All the fringe NFC teams have at least 6 losses and we are chilling with 4 losses. As long as we win this Bucs game we'll make the playoffs I believe.

Key NFC games in the near future

  • Bucs vs Falcons MON (Bucs win would be huge, then the Falcons would have 6 losses like all the other fringe NFC teams)
  • Packers vs Vikings TH Night(Packers, if they win then the race for the #2 seed is wide open)
  • Falcons vs Saints SUN  (Falcons win would have us in the division lead , assuming we defeat the Bucs)
  • Panthers vs Bucs SUN (Panthers ofc)
  • Rams vs Titans SUN (Titans, if the Rams lose and everyone else wins, then Saints become the #3 seed and we move up from #5 to #4 seed)
  • Seahawks vs Cowboys (Cowboys. Want the seahawks to lose as much as possible in case we lose our last 2 games)

By the end of Week 16 , we can be the #2 seed if

  • Panthers win  vs Bucs
  • Vikings lose to Packers
  • Saints lose to Falcons
  • Rams lose to Titans

We couldn't move up to #4.  Division winners (leaders for now) get 1-4.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
