Perhaps this has already been covered, but there was a CMC run early in the fourth quarter Sunday that I believe was an option to pass back to Cam. If correct, it's a little disappointing that he chose not to pass back, because Cam was wide open with all eleven defenders on the other side of the field. Possible that McCaffrey just wasn't comfortable and played it safe. Maybe we'll see it again in the coming weeks. 

You can see in the first frame that he kind of pulls up and moves the ball to his right hand... we noticed from the stands that it looked like he was going to pass. Cam clearly starts running and looking for the pass. After the play he looked pretty disappointed that he didn't get it. Probably would have walked it in if CMC had thrown.

I'd like to see the All-22 if anyone has it. Cam's body language suggested to me that he wanted that ball. If you watch how Cam stops, then starts to run again, it sure looks to me as though he's running a route. 2:39 if it doesn't start there automatically.

I would think just the opposite. Now that it's on film, teams will commit to covering Cam and that's one less guy who can tackle McCaffrey.

At 40 seconds, why wasn't that a horse collar?

      I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

      Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
