Good chance it will be another group with a majority "controlling interest" owner just like we have now, just a different set of people.

With the value of NFL franchises these days, it'd take a mighty mighty singular and wealthy individual to swing the whole enchilada.  Not that there aren't people out there who could do it.

Yeah. Those individuals do exist, but there sure as heck ain't many of em.

But why are they cashing out?

Could be nothing major, but...

They aren't necessarily. Depending on what the terms are, JR, being the majority owner, could have the ability to trigger a full sale, regardless of what the other owners want.

Thank goodness.  Let's see Diddy raise 2.3+ billion dollars if he can.  I said the sale would probably go over 3 billion.

If that happens this great franchise will collapse in a huge way and never recover to where it was before it was. I hope it don't get an awful owner that drags this organization to the ground.

Granted, but that seems like kind of a "screw you" to the people that helped him build it in the first place.

We'll have to see what happens.  I would like to see a younger owner in their 30s to be honest.  Yet most billionaires are old guys.

I don’t know how to feel about this. I’m still kinda shocked over all of it. As much as I preached new ownership I honestly didn’t think it would happen until JR passed. I was all for one of the minority owners buying up JR’s share, but the thought of a Dan Snyder type owner loom large now.
