Should Carolina Rest Starters Against the Falcunts?

Carolina would be playing to try to obtain the 2nd seed.  In order for that to happen, they would have to beat the falcons, Saints lose, Vikings lose.  Not sure about the Rams.  Carolina should remain the 5th seed regardless if they lose.  Staying the 5th seed gives them a path of the Saints, Eagles, Rams/Vikings.  Thats the best case scenerio imo.

different scenerio, if the Falcons game is flexed to 4pm and the Saints win their game.  Rest starters then?

Then that makes sense. But again, RR's call because the players/coaches may want to sort some things out from the awful performance today. I still imagine either way we see some vanilla play calling next week. Will come down to execution.

If we're not flexed, you play for the win 100%, if we're playing at night and know what happened in the saints game, it changes things depending on the saints game.  Saints win, rest big time vets (cam, luke, TD, Pep, R Kalil, Olsen, Stewart).  If saints lose, balls to the wall break the falcons spirit.  FWIW, I think the odds of the saints losing to the bucs is in the 10-15% range.
