i don't watch college football but i looked up Harris Highlights on youtube and this is my mock, please rate it:

1. James Washington - WR, OSU

2. Hayden Hurst - TE, SC

3. TJ Edwards - LB, UW

4. Marcell Frazier - DE, MU

I like the Hurst pick, we definitely need another TE.

Only Tyreek Hill would have CLEARLY been a better football asset for this football team taken after Worley, and obviously we weren’t taking a guy that beat and strangled his pregnant girlfriend.

Austin Hooper, Pharroh Cooper, Devontae Booker would all make this team better.

I'm not big on saying WELL WE COULDA TAKEN THIS GUY but there's more than Hill there.

Washington looked good in the highlights but he didn't look that fast, so you're probably right there, kinda like exchanging KB for shorter KB.

And I think and LB is necessary because we very much need an heir for Davis. We'll need one within a season or two and the dude I found looked like he had fantastic coverage skills.

I do like James Washington. Just...not in the first round. He's got speed just his acceleration is lacking. Really tough after the catch though.

And while I do agree on that, I think Shaq has preformed well at WLB when given the chance and not....whatever the fug Wilkes does with him on the strongside.

Sutton isn't KB. Or Funch.

Sutton actually has some agility and plays up to his size constantly. His feet and hips are way more loose and fluid than most big body wide receivers and that expands his route tree a lot more than Kelvin's, which would, in a world where our OC could actually make good route trees, would be a different beast with Sutton and Funchess than Kelvin and Funchess.

Sutton is also...I wouldn't say speedier but quicker than Kelvin and can do a lot more after the catch.

Well that eases the thought of drafting another big receiver.   I am sure the combine will help solidify his status.

we are in the playoffs and we talking about a draft thats 4 months away?

You can't multitask?  This was posted on Yahoo/Draftwire and thought it was an interesting topic.

We can only beat the topics of Shula, Beating New Orleans and our lack of WRs so often.

WE are discussing it....  It is very simple, if you don't want to discuss it.  Move onto the next topic.  Many of us like to talk year around about just about any relevant topic.

The comp I heard for Sutton is Mike Evans.. I'll take it

I wasn't overly impressed by this mock draft.  Our first rounder in this one is a replacement for KB.  We don't need another big WR.  If we are going WR in round one we need speed.  Funchess is a #2 and does better when he isn't the focus of defenses.

Round 1. Courtland Sutton WR LSU

Round 2. Tyrell Crosby OT Oregon (thoughts)

Round 3. (From Buffalo) Duke Ejiofor Edge Wake Forrest (thoughts)

Round 3. Donte Jackson CB LSU

Round 4. Traded to Cleveland

I did notice that Nick Chubb RB from Georgia would go to Cleveland in round two after our pick.   This would be a nice pickup if he were available in round 2.

Not the direction I'd like to see but can't really argue with Sutton.

Fan of Crosby and Ejofor.  Crosby is constantly described as nasty which I love to see in lineman and the pick could allow us to walk away from Kalil in a year or two.  Ejiofor is one of those productive LDEs who can also move inside on passing downs and destroy guards and could potentially be a good rotation with Hall if both pan out.

Not so much a fan of Jackson.  Super fast but very slight so he'll likely have problems tackling which is a no no out of our corners.

We’d skip over him and instead draft a receiver and try and turn him into a running back.

Can he beat press coverage and get into his route fast enough. That's the most important part

    • I'll be honest.  I'm not sure I want to see any those guys returning right now given what others are presently doing.... minus Coker.  Hubbard returning likely messes the run game up (I mean, it's going to come down regardless but he still), Tremble and Evans actually are doing well, Corbett seems to make us worse up front, and the D has made some strides.  I'd like to just keep that whole lot on the shelf this week.
    • I don't think people know that Icky is still only 25 years old. Panthers signed UDFAs older this year and drafted DJ Johnson. Heres a fact, a deep fact.... Its easier(much) to find a good-great QB than good-great LT. Another fact there's only 12-15 true LTs and the others are larping as LT.  SO....(I'm not a fan btw)......you nearly must resign him at all cost even with him being around the 12th best at times. Its the hardest spot to fill and he's still awful young with 4 years as a pro. Carolina already got 4 years of "cheap" service as well, that's invested time and effort.  The fan-side of me hopes he signs some top 5 at best top 3 big money deal. Just the cap keeps growing and LTs, young LT with experience are rrrrrrare and unique. Tag him if needed and tag him again, then trade him. I think he enjoys being/living in NC.  I hope he's stays on a team friendly deal, but those are soooo rare these days.  Only two options- pay him whatever, even if it's top $$$$$(uggggghhhh..) or tag him for 2027 and keep trying to pay. Worst outcome is trading him for couple 1s, 3s, and 5th maybe a player too.
    • I always loved DJ Moore.  I don't see him wanting to comeback here.  He seems to be tired of inconsistent QB play and you finally see that bubbling over in Chicago.  or maybe he just doesn't like the people.  He actually seemed fine with Fields.....and lobbied for them not to draft Caleb.  So maybe it's just a Caleb issue (and I think Caleb might have tons of baggage/issues that rub folks wrong)
