Daryl Williams was second-team All-Pro as well. Kawann Short got a few votes but I don't think he made the second team.

There are still two All-Pro teams left to be announced: the Sporting News All-Pro team (voted on by players, coaches, and executives) and the PFWA All-Pro team (voted on by members of the Pro Football Writers Association). Both of these are official All-Pro teams as well.

fug... Norwell is gone, isn't he?

I really do think Norwell’s contract will be a priority this spring. See some panic among the fan base that it won’t be, but he’s proved his value here and FO knows that.

Jourdan been reading the Huddle.

This will be Hurney's first big contract test as GM. AFAIK the Turner deal was pretty much set before Gettleman left.

Hurney can play hardball, he's done it before (see Muhsin Muhammad leaving in 2005). I don't expect it here but he can't overpay. I've liked his personnel moves but I don't trust him here yet.

    • Assuming Mann is back I’d go ahead and move Green and the first rounder from PHX for a starting center. I prefer Okogie to Green anyway.
    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
