Wilks won't interview with Colts

Yea if he already got a gig he probably don't even wanna bother with them....can't blame him. Jim CokeFace doesn't seem like a good owner and even with an Andrew Luck(surgery I know) people are turning them down that says a lot.

Speculation is that the Colts are after McDaniels or another offensive coach to work with Luck.

Wilks is said to want DeFillippo from the Eagles as his OC if he gets a head coaching gig.

Josh McDaniels the favorite in Indy.

Giants likely going with Patricia. Reports are (per NY Post) Wilks isn't a frontrunner there.

Wilks is going to be our DC, for better or worse.

I pray we suffer through another year with a 7th ranked defense.  Stability on the defensive side of the ball is what the Panthers need with the big overhaul happening on offense.

Hiring Norv Turner is far from a "big overhaul" on offense lol. It's pretty much Ron doubling down on what he thinks works and not taking any chances on switching the philosophy up, for better or worse.

He's hired someone much more capable and experiences in running an offense we have already seen glimpses of.

Gettleman was said to be pushing for Wilks while Mara favored Patricia. 

Guess that debate is over.

And for the record, I think Wilks is more than capable of being a good head coach.

Maybe just not his time yet. Hopefully he can refocus and put us in better position down the stretch next season.
