I know people think its cool to put down people on the internet but the original title was "30 For 30.. The Bills"...  I still hope you think you are cool tho...

what? I wasn't putting you down man, I was legitimately asking. I saw the title was "The two Bills" and was just curious what struck a comparison of two different bills team.

Sorry it came off condescending

I don’t understand why Parcells is considered a great coach... unless I’m forgetting something he only won one SB, didn’t do much after that.

You have forgotten quite a bit sir.

Every team Parcell ever coached was in bad shape when he got there. By the 2nd or 3rd season they were in the playoffs. The first 3 teams (Giants, Patriots, and Jets) he coached all made to the conference title game at least once. He won two Superbowl titles (1986 and 1990) with Giants. He made it to the 1998 AFC title game with Vinny Testerverde as his starter for the Jets. His 1996 Patriot team almost beat Favre's Packers in the Superbowl that year. People forget how close that game was until the 4th quarter.

He's probably the main reason Montana didnt reach 5 SB wins before Brady. The 49ers won 3 titles between 1984-1989.  During that span the Giants knocked them out of the playoffs twice in the divisional round. The 49ers won back to back titles in 1988-1989. When the 49ers we're going for a Three-peat in 1990 the Giants beat them the NFC conference title game in San Francisco despite only scoring 15 points on 5 FG's. As great as Montana and the 49ers were in the 80's, the Giants we're the one team they hated to play.  ASK ANYBODY who remembers that era. Montana couldn't even finish two of those playoff  games because the Giant D beat him up so bad. I think Parcells record against Montana in the playoffs during the Bill Walsh/George Seifert era was 3-1.

He even had the Cowboys trending upward. While he was there. Then Jerry Jones decided to bring in Terrell Owens against his wishes. After that overly dramatic season was done Parcells resigned and never coached again.

One knock on him was he that he didnt stay in any place too long. He seemed to burnout a little sooner than other great coaches. But, every team he left was in better shape than when he arrived.

Oh, I forgot to mention that when Parcells 1990 Giant team knocked off the 49ers he didn't do it with his starting QB. Phil Simms missed the last part of that season. His backup, Jeff Hostetler, came off the bench and led them to upset wins in the playoffs against SF and then Buffalo in Superbowl. The Nick Foles/Eagles story isn't new. Parcells  and the Giants pulled off a similar feat 27 years ago.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
