After all that 'feel good' talk from Peppers about doing right by the fans and finishing his career here before last year started, to actually and most likely leaving us again.  Judas.

It’s low hanging fruit to be pissed at Peppers for this.

Look no further than JR/Hurney for who should actually shoulder the blame.

Peppers knows what we are in for.

The fact that we are not an appealing destination for Peppers to wrap up his career is absolutely deflating.

I get it, there is no guarantee we are going to be in contention for a ring this year, and also no gaurantee that we would can keep him for another two years with the shaky ground our FO/staff are on.

A huge slap in the face to you, JR. You created this mess.

Or... maybe Peppers is a pure mercenary who is going to the highest bidder. There's no guarantee anyone is going to be in contention for a ring this year. A couple of key injuries could potentially derail any team's chances.

Oh and Tyler Eifert would mean we necessarily wouldn't need to worry about receiver. He made Dalton look good. and Cam and Norv would make him look even better. Splitting snaps and double TE would help the longetivity of both him and Olsen.

Disappointed in Pep. Wishy washy sh*t with him continues. Said he grew but I don't see a difference. Still wishy washy. Just when people were sooooo happy to dust off their old forgotten #90 jersies. He has no " home" he's a vagabond a hired gun with no sense of loyalty.

He's off my list of Panther GOATs and on the permanent Judas list if he pulls this sh*t.

Idk.

I have a feeling that he and JR have a differing opinion on lots of things.

Probably doesn’t want anything to do with this franchise now.

Probably so. But it sure seemed like most of the chatter in the past few weeks was that it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that Peppers was going to be back. Then as the "legal tampering" period came closer all of a sudden it's up in the air. Money talks even for a guy who should be set for life many times over.

Julius Peppers is the reason that I'm a Panthers fan, but if he signs elsewhere after all that talk about coming home and having no desire to play anywhere else at this point in his career then he can go fug himself as far as I'm concerned.
