it’s obvious that you’re all in for hurney

Nope. I'm all in for finally getting a Lombardi Trophy for our core players before they are past their primes. I think inevitably with new ownership looming Hurney is gone next year or the year after that unless we make a crazy run this upcoming season.

Anyways, let's just dispense with the saber rattling for the moment and hope Hurney can draft a WR that doesn't suck.

How many people mad about this contract gave a thumbs up after we backed up a brinks truck to Matt Kalil?

0 considering no one at all wanted Matt Kalil...but you can't trade your starting CB and not get one so we had to make this move.

Not necessarily.  Speaking as a Gettlemen defender I am infinity more confident in his ability to identify a player that fits the team over Hurney any day.  But I would still wait to decide if his gamble paid off until the season is over.

You see, unlike most of you Gman haters we dont think every player we sign is the missing piece before they every suit up or think a draft pick is a bust after one season.

Get used to it, that's how this place was before GMan cut Smitty.

And now it's back to the previous status quo. Saca admitted he was wrong the rest won't they'll just be doing it all over again next year.  Lots of practice squad HoFers too like Ryne Robinson...back to that + Hurney so there's some fun to be had at least.

This isn't that particular signing to fret on though.

Breeland is a very capable CB and a much better CB than Worley. Unlike in other previous transactions, we released a player and resigned a player in his position of better caliber. With limited cap space, we are and have improved the Carolina Panthers...

i will never ever trust hurney to right the ship, but if we can come away from this offseason with a winning season and a true no.1 receiver out of the draft, i will concede that he at least has some ability to keep a seat warm

who would you like in the draft

If we have a winning season I will eat my hat.
