Lol...please tell me how I'm supposed to think again.  You pretentious posters want the hive mentality around here.  You overrate every player that is signed 90% of the time.   If you don't like my comments please by all means put me on ignore.  Until the fug off.

Good one buddy... Just because most like the Breeland signing along with the structure, doesn't mean I want a hive mentality.  It's just your takes are absolutely awful, and you constantly whine like a 5 year old girl who didn't get ice cream for dessert

Actually good structure unlike the Kalil contract. Money wise it's essentially a 2 year deal worth 14m dollars. Also his cap hit is 3.9m this season, 9.7m next and 10.2m in final year. Contract has 600k in workout bonuses considered LTBE.

I say essentially because if he plays up to the contract then he will most likely be extended.

No you're pissed because I don't agree with you so you result to insults like a child.   Please put me on ignore.

Haha no, I just called you out on your constant whining and you can't handle it.  Clearly it isn't just about you bitching about this one deal.... it is constant for you on this message board.  Sorry for calling you out buddy

Jon i got you bro but the Smith and Breeland contracts aren't bad! I actually hate Hurney for real but this time around he has yet to screw the pooch. It's hard sometimes to be real when you know the rest won't but can't let that affect your takes!

The more we see of autonomous, non-JR-Hurney, the more I'm convinced that I was right and that JR is the one responsible for the horrible contracts in Hurney's first tenure.

I always felt Hurney fell on the sword for that. That doesn’t dismiss his other bad moves but plenty of evidence to suggest that was the case in 2011.

You're not calling out anyone.  You're making a fool of yourself trying to label someone you don't even know.   But carry on.  Welcome to the ignore list.

It's not affecting me at all.  I'm actually enjoying rustling the Jimmy's around here.  These noobs are so hilarious with their fanatical loyalty to mediocrity and hero worship.

I'm actually laughing at these fools.  Breeland may be a good signing but that's yet to be seen.  If they want to crown his ass by all means go ahead lol

I think someone made a good point about this in another thread. Realistically rookies only take up a couple million because the players they replace on the roster. Their cap numbers are friendly out of the gate, but addition by subtraction makes it easy to fit them into a tight cap.

Looking at the Panthers website, it only show 42 players under contract (not including future contracts or JPep). Which would mean the next 8 contracts would go towards the top 51. Guess it depends on how many more FAs we sign and for how much. Makes me think they have to be subtracted from that number.
