Looks like a decent draft to me. On offense we've got a good weapon to work with in DJ Moore and an interesting project in Ian Thomas, we have a few new corners (or one corner and a safety) to try and plug the hole we created a few years back, some depth at linebacker,  and a pretty stout nose tackle. Really sucks we couldn't get a lineman.

I love this draft. Don’t know how many guys will make this team but I like the defensive strategy.

Offense was not the problem last season. Our defense was the weakness of this team. We let Brees, Kamara and New Orleans do whatever they wanted to not one, not two but THREE times!

rofl this guy is always hilarious with how wrong he is in every single post he makes.

We lost to NO in the playoffs due to a dropped TD pass by our no name WR.
We had a top 10 defense not a top 10 offense.
We always draft heavy defense with last year being the lone exception.

Try harder to be even more wrong with your next post, I know you can do it, about as good as you are at getting banned.

Yea of course it was a dropped TD pass that cost us the game. Just forget 31 point our defense gave us in the playoff. Forget the other 65 point our defense gave up I the regular season to NO.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
