From WFNZ interview.

Confirms what many of us are thinking. Likely won't start right away, possibly not this season.

Panthers still need free agent help at safety.

Well, who said what?

The door is open for a free agent acquisition, but there is Demetrious Cox, a player I once read the Panthers were high on--claimed off waivers and put on IR.

Any lack of movement could suggest that they are OK going with Searcy, Adams, Gaulden and Cox with Jones doing what he does.

What are the odds that we're waiting on a new owner before bringing in Eric Reid or Tre Boston (again) ? If you'll remember there was some hullabaloo with Richardson, about people kneeling, and both Reid and Boston mince no words when it comes to expressing themselves, verbally and physically, regarding topics related to the National Anthem kneeling...

    • I agree the free agent class is thin but with all the draft capital Tulsky has I expect some big trades as well
    • I mean we haven't had a winning season in going on 8 years we have had the worst win percentage in all of sports the last few years and we spent most of last summer arguing with each other on whether to be hyped or cautiously optimistic. To the point he was trying to moderate the discourse all throughout training camp. The staff then decided to hold the starters out of preseason until the very end and we started off the season with two of the ugliest losses in franchise history. Yet apparently in his mind the problem is....the fans who are justifiably apprehensive to buy the hype again before seeing some consistency in actual games? I don't see anything remotely unreasonable about it and it certainly doesn't make anyone any less of a fan or inferior to someone else unless that someone is mentally ill.
