Do you think there will be more accusations among players or coaches? This really surprised me as we brand ourselves as family friendly but then all of this happens out of nowhere at same time.

We already know it was due to inappropriate conduct. Remains to be seen if details are going to be disclosed.

Update (5/4/18): According to ESPN’s David Newton, the Panthers released the following statement on Fuller’s resignation:

"Panthers statement from spokesperson Steven Drummond on why the team accepted the resignation of defensive backs coach Curtis Fuller on Wednesday: “After approaching Coach Fuller with the findings of an investigation into complaints of inappropriate conduct, we accepted his resignation. The Panthers are deeply committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and diverse work environment where all individuals, regardless of sex, race, color, religion, gender, or sexual identity or orientation, are treated fairly and equally.”

So let's see...

Owner accused, under investigation...

GM accused, ex-wife later retracts...

Quarterback accused of sexist remarks, apologizes...

SI article quotes Richardson accuser as saying that team executives knew about and witnessed Richardson's behavior and did nothing...

Assistant Coach accused and investigated, resigns...

Oy :eyeroll:

Newton's story wasn't on the same level as the others, but it's worth noting in this context specifically because he's the only guy who really stood up and took any responsibility for his actions.

Gotta say, housecleaning is looking more and more like the best option once the ownership changes hands.

And yes, that may mean Rivera too. I know some will consider that unfair, but what can you do?

Oh lawd...

I’ve been wondering if Rivera might end up getting caught up in this eventually. That recent article didn’t necessarily directly call him out but it didn’t exactly paint him in the best of light either.

I honestly think there’s a decent to maybe even probable chance that this entire organization gets more or less gutted from top to bottom under new ownership.

Im sure the climate with the Panthers after Jerry's scandal is very strict, Its already a touchy subject and most work places would rather fire you that investigate any actual wrong doing.

Story indicates they did investigate though.

Rivera's quotes in the aftermath of this story too make him sound piiiissed.

I'm leaning that way too.

Maybe potential bidders should go ahead and start lining up their chosen consultants.

Also, this s--t sucks.

It's a miracle we made the playoffs last year, and this year could be just as trying.

There are just too many leadership voids, and too many unanswered questions for me to have much faith in the folks running this business.

Sad honestly, we finally get our hands on a franchise QB, and we can't figure out how to run a successful franchise around him.  Reminds me of the Chargers to be honest.
