More misconduct in panthers

I'm going to say it again it's the year to suck. All this crap is making that obvious, so count on a 5-11 or 6-10 year. Maybe new ownership will change our luck on back to back winning seasons. Really can't believe we have played 23 years and never did that.

Richardson actually pulled out of the day-to-day operations of the team shortly after the scandal came out, so he hasn't been "coming to work every day" for quite a while.

General consensus is that he's still running everything of course, but he's not doing it in person.

Which is why I used the quotation marks and followed up with the "so to speak" line. It wasn't meant to be taken literally.

you dont think Chuck wants to take some time away from coaching?

I forgot he said he was going to take some time off (or rather forgot he wasn't fired earlier last year). But I dunno, if the right situation presents itself I think anyone would reconsider. He has coached at ECU twice and UNC once, plus he coached in Baltimore for awhile. He might have some roots, or ties, to this area because of it. Would be nice.

Meanwhile, the Washington cheerleaders are forced to pose topless and then act as escorts for rich friends of Snyders and not a single investigation has been launched or a single job lost.

Oh no, it is being investigated...

...by the Redskins.

All of this is coming out any way possible to help force the sale of this team. If Ron doesn't have us in the playoffs this year, which I doubt he will, clean house. Starting with bug-eyed Hurney.

In an industry like this, I would be surprised if you couldn't find instances of harassment or inappropriate conduct in any Front Office, if you looked for it.  We're under a microscope right now.

Yup... keep thinking about those pics of Jerry Jones. I know the explanation is that those were fans asking him to pose that way, but regardless of the circumstances is that appropriate conduct for an NFL owner?

Anyone with half a brain knew his resignation would be due to something like this. Its getting to the point that the Panthers organization is going to have to only hire old, ugly women or no women at all because a lot of their employees seem to have a difficulty keeping their pen out of fhe company ink.

It's kind of funny how much society has changed in my lifetime.  This kind of thing has been going on for quite a while but it wasn't considered that big of a deal in the past.  You can really see how widespread this problem has been just by looking at all the different industries this has been going on in.  Everybody from Charlie Rose to Jerry Richardson to Harvey Weinstein.  And it goes in the regular joe job's too.  I've seen it everywhere.  Of course there are varying degrees to how bad it is from person to person but to some degree it happens everywhere.

The odd thing to me is that there are women I've known that have went to job interviews dressed in tight clothes leaving little to the imagination.  They probably thought it would give them a leg up in getting hired.  I believe some women need to be held accountable in that regard.  Why not call them out on social media?

By the way I'm not defending what any of these guys did but in the end we're just animals and men are hard wired to be attracted to women.  The difference between me and those guys is that I know when to keep my mouth shut as far as that kind talk goes.  Some men just feel like they can say whatever they want when they get in those positions of power though.

I'm just glad that cameras weren't pervasive back when I was young.
