Doesn't really say a lot for Curtis Fuller.

My guess is that the investigation into Richardson will be netting any and all wrongdoing by anyone in the organization. Or it could be a #METOO moment.

And Hurney's bigger problem might be that the SI accuser said upper management knew what was going on and did nothing.  She didn't name anyone specific, but in a way that makes it worse.

Opinions on the effectiveness of housecleaning aside, I get the feeling that's what the league will want.

But the accusation against Hurney was made up, so she lied.  

I don't think the league cares as much as some think they do.  They want Jerry R gone, but beyond that, I don't see them making many demands.

The league tried to get the Panthers to replace Hurney while that investigation was still happening.

Again though, it's not so much Hurney himself as it is his association with Jerry Richardson.  Nobody is closer to Richardson than Hurney, and fair or not, a lot of people are going to assume he had to know.

And frankly, Hurney probably didn't help his case by stating in a newspaper interview that he didn't believe any such misconduct ever happened. He'd have done a lot better to keep his mouth shut on that front (same with Rivera).
