Gun to my head we go into next season with the following

CMC, Anderson, CAP, Barner

Hood to PS

I would rather have Hood over CAP but I think Rivera ultimately wins the battle as he seems to love CAP.

Based on his 18 rushing attempts last year? That is hardly showing love for a player.  I know Rivera said some things recently, but what happens on the field is what matters and where "love" of a player is shown.

If Ron/Norv is so in love with CAP, he has a strange way of showing it... Anderson, Hood, Barner, Bonnafon. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I would not be surprised to see our RB corp being: Anderson, CMC, Barner with Hood at FB and Armah on PS.

If he loved cap, Cap would have played more, Stewart or no Stewart.  IMO, he says nice things about Cap  because he is the coach and that is what coaches do.  Especially if they know they are a couple of injuries away from having to depend on that player.  But if he loved, (and by loved I mean thought Cap was really good), he would have played Cap at least 5-10 snaps per game.

that's fair and sounds like a compromise of what we are both saying

Good punt/kickoff returner. Didn't see him taking screens or handoffs 50 yards for tds. That's okay though cause CMC should be able to handle screens and wheel routes out of backfield anyways.

...as if taking a screen or handoff 50 yards for a touchdown is a common thing.

truth is, another of barner's responsibilities in philladelphia was handling screens.

Its not and I didn't say it was. But usually a guy will have at least one long screen pass here n there that does good /yardage...like Fozzy.

He probably gonna be the head kick/punt returner to be realistic, that's the only thing he's visibly better at imo then anyone else on the roster.

Also he still has to compete with Reggie.

the very video you posted has him taking a screen pass for what looks like at least 50 yards.

Good potential Fozzy replacement

I honestly don't understand why the team needs a "Fozzy replacement".

Frankly, I always for some odd reason thought it was nice to be unpredictable with your play-calling with running backs instead of so easily read you might as well be a Dick and Jane book.

The Panthers signed free agent running back Kenjon Barner to a one-year contract. Barner was drafted by Carolina in the sixth round of the 2013 Draft and spent one season with the Panthers before he was traded to Philadelphia prior to the 2014 season.

I’m a Fozzy fan myself. But he may not come back from that ACL. At least not on this squad.
