Butler and Bradberry are 3rd year players. They have to show something

Bradbery is a solid number 2 corner. He does very well I think against larger WRs. For example he always seems to do well against players like Mike Evans.

One thing that always seems lacking in him are personality traits of a great CB. He seems very reserved and never gives off the vibe of wanting to be a shutdown CB. My hope is that Jackson can turn into our number 1 so Bradberry can be our number 2 which is ideal.

Butler always flashed once a game but is not effective on the other 20 plays. He needs consistency. Unfortunately with his injury history I have little faith he will turn into what we need him to be. I still trust Kyle Love more than him.

Like Chris Gamble? Everyone doesn't have to be Norman or Revis.

Chris Gamble was a good CB but wasn't close to a shutdown or even a pro bowl CB.

Honestly,  that is a perfect comparison. Players solid,  not spectacular and in this NFL Gamble would be a good #2 CB

Gamble could be up and down at times, but his 2011 season (first with Rivera) was elite.  He shut down everyone.

Nah, Gamble was excellent. The years where his INTs dropped were the years where opposing teams just quit throwing to his side of the field. The guy was phenomenal and would be considered one of the elites if he had been any good at self-promotion.

He lined up and quietly took care of business throughout his career.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
