McCaffrey carried the ball just five times, but those rushes accounted for 92 yards. The first attempt was the best. On 2nd-and-1 on Carolina's first series, McCaffrey squirted through the middle of line, raced to the right sideline, kicked on the jets and was gones-ville.

The Panthers have long been a team that likes to run the ball. But the Panthers brought in C.J. Anderson in free agency in part because of concerns about McCaffrey's ability to pick up yardage between the tackles.

He picked up a whole bunch of that Friday.

And if you're drafting your fantasy football team this weekend, be prepared for McCaffrey's price tag to reflect that.

I believe it. Won’t be surprised to see him hit 1800+ yards receiving/rushing combined. Should also have 10TDs at least. If last night is any indication, our offense is going to run through him.

2nd rounder in most  drafts me thinks. If you wait till round 3 he will be gone

It's hard for even Bleacher Report to be wrong about something so obvious. 

So far it seems that another obvious has been addressed- the need for better run blocking.

His ADP has been mid 2nd round even before last night. I do t think it will change much to be honest.

If u are drafting with a bunch of panthers fans I wouldnt be surprised if he went in second. I don’t think he would be a wise first rounder.

I was hoping to get him late second, but this same league I am in this year, someone took him mid second :(
