Did you guys watch this week? Gaulden may have been the worst player out there. He got burned multiple times. Jackson has looked good, Gaulden in games has not looked close to that.

I agree.  Gaulden was hot trash  against the steelers and it looked  more mental than physical.  He's going to play better or he's not going far in the league.  If Gaulden continues to play like last week, we're going to be missing Coleman.

Jackson looked better than Bradberry against the pats.

Amazing that people keep harping on the OL. We’ve picked up Oher, Remmers, Turner, Williams, Moton, Larsen since Ryan couldn’t stay healthy, Van Roten and of course Norwell (yes, I count him since Gettleman never had a chance to extend him fired before his last season). I know, laugh at Oher and Remmers, but Oher looked good until the concussion and Remmers was decent at RT through a 22-2 streak.

Why is there a myth that since 2013 we’ve ignored it since we added 2 All-Pros and 1 Pro-Bowler. All those guys above are from 5 off seasons. If anything we ignored it this offseason. If Williams gets healthy and the rest stay healthy we will luckily have a solid OL thanks to Gettleman who I know you hate more than life itself. I never like Matt Kalil from the beginning but I also didn’t realize we were sitting on Moton who honestly would have probably been better last year and would have sat on him again without the injuries.

Next it'll be WR we haven't done even though we brought in like 100 WRs just like we had an all CB draft but yet aren't addressing it somehow.

From ESPN's Jags page: Ronnie Harrison, S, Round 3: The original plan was to keep him at strong safety, but he's been so impressive the Jaguars have worked him at free safety, too, and he started there in second preseason game.

Harrison was the first safety taken after Gaulden that Hurney shoulda/coulda taken but had the Gaulden bright idea instead.

Spare me the sob story. Are you concerned about hurt feelings via valid criticism or do you want to win a championship? Excuses aren't going to bring that Lombardi trophy home.

You can rationalize mediocrity if it makes you feel better. The rest of us will expect more with two transcendent talents like Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly helming the offense and defense.

Even if I can look past the the OL and the secondary, the 2017 offseason really sealed Gettleman's fate after letting Norman walk the year before. You don't direct your team to a Super Bowl one season, and barely muster 6 wins the next without some self inflicted mistakes. Stop making excuses. Expect more. David Tepper clearly does.
