Parking

I was wondering what everyone does on gameday. There is tons of guides on everything except parking. I was thinking of using a Uber or Lyft this year but wasn't sure how well it works out around here.

For fans with a handicap, be aware that there is no reserved handicapped parking near the stadium. There is a shuttle from Lot B at Carolinas Medical Center. $40 gets you right next to the stadium. A shuttle/bus takes you back to CMC after the game.

Dilworth Neighborhood Grill is 1 mile from the stadium down Morehead. Parking is free and it is easy to get out of town after the game. I walk past many Ubers and Lyfts sitting in traffic while I walk. Then when I get to the parking deck, I'm easily out of town in a matter of minutes.They also offer a free shuttle from their restaurant, but you can walk faster due to traffic.

Park and tailgate about a 10 min walk to the stadium.  $25 lot at the corner of McNinch and Hill St.  Will get the spot we want because will get there early...about 10am.

I typically come down the night before and stay at an uptown hotel.  Then I walk to the stadium on game day and then back to retrieve my car at the hotel afterwards for the drive home.

There was a thread about this a while back but I'm too lazy to find it. The general consensus was that you're going to have to wait a while after the game if you use Uber/Lyft or you'll be packed like sardines on the train and might have to wait a train or two.

I usually use Uber if I'm going to the Riot tailgate. Otherwise, my group has a $20 parking lot that we've been using for 10+ years. And no I won't tell you where because it's ours

I've found that parking near the @RoaringRiot tailgate side of the stadium gives more options for highway access afterwards.

Parking in Uptown has kept me in crowded traffic for longer than I'd like (ex: game ends at 4p, get to car around 5:15p 'cause I wander, still stuck in traffic at 6p before clearing highway access)

Agree with everyone that if  you're going to Uber/Lyft -- wander your way away from the stadium as far as you can before requesting a pickup.

I usually park in the stix and am forced to take a rickshaw or golf cart since my kids see them.  That said, I just bought a season pass for a lot on morehead just down from the stadium, so it's a much closer walk and no rickshaws needed.

I park/tailgate at 600 W 8th St Parking, West 8th Street, Charlotte, NC

it's been 10$ this preseason. just under a mile walk to the stadium about 15 min and if you have a big group, there are some metered/street spots around that are free so you can just park one vehicle in the lot and split it with all your tailgaters and everyone else can park (early) on the street

pay $5 and walk a mile...like really unless you're old or handicapped TF are you doing paying $40+ to park

Paying that because I'm old and handicapped? Gee, thanks for making me feel better ..... not.
