Saquan is the truth. Dude has managed to shine with little to no push from his O-Line so far this season. Beckham is Beckham and one of the best receivers in the game. Shepard is a great #2.

Besides that long ass run vs the Jags the first weekend of the season, he's been average as fug. Including last week vs the awful Texans. Shepard is a beast though. He would be our clear number 1 on our team. Boomer!

All I know is, if we can't get any pressure against this HORRID o-line, then I will be worried moving forward about our defense. Obada and Short should have a field day. This Giants o-line is the worst in the league.

Seahawks & Texans lines would like to have a word with you.

Have to stop the long runs from Barkley

Giants weapons are actualy better than the Bengals. The Oline is suspect

But OBJ ,Sheppard ,and ,Engram have big play capability

Panthers should get more pressure

But Gaints could score more if the Panthers can't limit the big play

The Giants are really fuging bad. For how much talent they have it makes no sense. Their offensive line is pretty bad but due to our injuries one could argue it isn't much worse than ours. I mean we are starting a guy signed off his couch to play left tackle and they spent 60 million on Nate Solder. We have an undrafted LG and they are starting second rounder Hernandez who many of us wanted this past draft. They traded away their center for some reason when many considered him to be top 10 in the league. I know Flowers is bad but they replaced him and the guy isn't much better. Maybe it is a coaching issue who knows.

They have a good space eating nose tackle and 2 good players in the secondary. The rest of their Defense is terrible.

We have some serious issues if we don't whoop their ass. On the other hand, this is a Rivera coached team post bye week so you never know.

He's a homerun threat every time he touches the ball.

106 rushing his first game

80 receiving and 14 receptions 2nd game

82 rushing 35 receiving 3rd game

Over 100 yards from scrimmage every game so far in his career behind an O-line that would be happy to trot out Byron Bell and Matt Kalil right now.

Saquan is a stud.

If we pressure Eli they have no chance. If Eli has all day we could be in trouble.

We WILL pressure Eli.  I've seen many games of his, where he drops to the fetal position, as he senses a rusher coming -- deer in the headlights syndrome.  I predict no fewer than 5 sacks.  Mark this as an easy home win.

Uhhhh, surprised no one is talking about why we really shouldn't underestimate this team. There is a lot of institutional knowledge about the Panthers on that team. Gettleman obviously, but Shula and Stewart too. Those guys know the strengths and weaknesses of just about every player on our team that we didn't add this offseason. NFL is all about exploiting matchups, and the Giants have the inside edge on finding ones in their favor.

Engram will be out. but yes Im very thankful we have bradberry and Jackson. Sheppard and OBJ are a solid 1/2 punch. They are going to have to step up

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
