RT – TAYLOR MOTON, CAROLINA PANTHERS

HONORABLE MENTION: Mitchell Schwartz

Moton gets the slight nod here due to his impressive work in the run game, though Schwartz deserves recognition as the highest-graded pass-blocking right tackle in the NFL so far this season. Moton, though, has been no slouch himself, allowing only three hurries all season and taking only five downgrades in the run game all season.

That's all I think about it's crazy wait till Moore takes someone's snaps even with his weak routes, did you see Torrey Rin a route and not even look for the ball and it hit him in the dam face mask it's been so much weakness I'm lost for words but his impact still may be legendary depending on how Eric turns out for us imo.

Were you drunk, baw?  Or do you just hate punctuation?

(P.S. I agree.)

I didn't always agree with DG's approach to the draft but I do have to give him some credit.  Williams, Moton, Turner, and Norwell is a nice collection of offensive lineman.

Its one thing to draft 4 starters, which is impressive in itself, but its looking like all 4 are high level starters.

Gettleman also is responsible for Larsen and Van Roten.

Edit: And Oher before his concussion problems.

I want to keep repeating that this is the guy Rivera wanted to keep on the bench until injuries forced his hand.

What if that helped him improve by not being thrown into the fire? Taking limited snaps and developing on the side until it was his time to step up might have sped up the development process. He might not have made all pro right out of the gate.

Making the assumption that Moton has won the LG job before Williams got hurt is wrong IMHO.

Just like making the assumption that it was entirely Rivera who wanted to keep him on the bench barring injury. I'm sure the line coach and OC have absolutely nothing to do with the decision. I doubt Rivera would overrule Matsko's input.

So odd to see someone say it's wrong to assume, then go and assume even further.
