We got extremely lucky officiating calls

I thought this further explanation of the first down review was interesting:

This is exactly what I told all of you last night about why they didn't stop the clock for a measurement. Now I didn't know they had already reviewed it in New York, but it was a no brainer. And it wasn't giving us anything, it was actually keeping us from getting an extra time out.

Let’s be real, if all you weekly whiners about officiating can admit we got handed a game this was pretty damn close.

The officiating in the game was horrendous. Our pass rush was being blatantly held all throughout the game. Yes we got 1, maybe 2 lucky calls, but it doesn't balance out the negative.

That game was neither won or lost by the officiating.  Not with the number of mistakes being committed by both teams.

There was no helmet to helmet hit. Hell, there really wasn't much of a "hit" at all. The refs missed plenty of holds on them throughout the game and those two incompletions they called for us where bullshit, so I don't feel the least bit guilty about being the beneficiary of a generous flag, but that's exactly what this was. I'd be pissed if this was called against us. It's not a foul.

I didn't think so either until I watched the game highlights. There definitely was. Despite what the broadcast crew said, it was on Collins, 21, for helmet-to-helmet contact. The officials made the right call there.
