Did anybody see the twitter pissing match between Norman and Michael Thomas?  Funny stuff.

Probably because of Thomas saying this to JNo

"He(JNo) struggled trying to get his jersey off to exchange it with former teammate Kurt Coleman, and he got into a Twitter beef with Saints receiver Michael Thomas, who called the former All-Pro corner a "con artist". "

Yeah. I don't get the desire to have him back. He hasn't performed well at all since his ONE good year with us.

That's not even remotely true. Redskin fans love him.

This is true.  The Redskins pass defense has been abysmal and for a couple of years fielded Norman paired with Breeland.  When the whole foot nonsense came about, everyone thought our season was over.  Who cares if the fans love him? He is not performing and was not worth that money.  He had one good year here and now he showing that he was a system player in DC.

He played great in 2016, and in 2017, despite injuries, he still played well. It's 2018 and offenses are still not throwing his way, look up the stats.

Brees didn't target him a single time in the 2nd half.

That's cute, but he's still not getting thrown at much, because of his coverage ability. How many times do you think Bradberry's man was targeted on Sunday?

I love Josh Norman, but just stop. You and your $75M contract don't get benched if you're playing well... or even decently.

Stop what? The Panthers' defense after Norman left has been mediocre to complete garbage. That's a fact. Another fact is they've had to spend an obscene amount of draft picks to find a legitimate corner. Another is the pass defense is still lacking as years go by.

Ask Redskins' fans if they think his contract was worth it for the first two years, and even this year. Make a post here.

None of this is relevant to Josh Norman's state of play right now. Hint: his play got him benched for a 7th round rookie.

As much as I hate the defensive system we use it’s fascinating seeing so many players look like All Pros with us and then look like scrubs when they leave. Munnerlyn and Mitchell looked like superstars in 2013 and Norman was arguably the best corner in the league in 2015. Today he’s not even Top 10

That was monsters inc. the same monters inc that made Melvin White a halfway decent corner for a year.

Then don't bring up his contract, which has a clear out after this season.

Also, it's ridiculous you think being benched for a half somehow means anything. You should read some of the reports about what transpired in the locker room at halftime.

His contract is relevant because teams try not to bench guys who are eating up significant cap space. Those guys generally get a pretty long leash before they get yanked.
