Don’t agree...we need a leader in the secondary (which may be Jackson when he gets more experience) and some pass rushers. All the other pieces are there.

On the coaching front however you may be spot on.

  I swear would summa you you say what you want to see not what is in front of you. Your biases get in the way and that’s normal. However don’t be afraid when people call you out someone is literally in this thread talking about how cam won’t win if he can’t be the hero. That son of a bitch got to go

in all seriousness, I made this thread in jest as a shot to everyone on here calling for QB1's head due to missing the last 3 throws. 

Luke and this defense has plenty of issues, but I don't actually believe Luke is the problem....he's overcompensating for a poor scheme and a poor supporting cast.

Either way, this defense has a long way to go.

Luke doesn't suck.   But this isn't the same Luke pre-concussions and really don't blame him.    No doubt the front line isn't helping him this year, you can't deny that, but he also wasn't the same last year.    I know he was all-pro and got voted as one of the best and all that but he just wasn't the same even last year.     But even with that, until the DT's start doing something it's hard to point fingers.    I will say, he does seem out of position in coverage quite often though.

But I think we can all agree that Washington isn't that great of a DC.    We should have looked around a bit before just promoting from within.

I think it’s safe to say that Wilks was a great coordinator. Washington has inherited what is essentialy a more talented defense, at minimum equal to last season, and has made them look like absolute trash. However the defense played well all things considered. Take those 2 turnovers away and they held them to 9 points

2. Bad throw and rushed to Funchess. 100% on Cam

Why were we even in position to win the game in the fist place? Oh yeah, that's right, QB1.

The first down pass was a checkdown to Cmac which set up 2nd and 5.

I feel like Luke is worrying way too much about where everyone else is lined up and what they are doing, when he should focus on being the defensive playmaker that is/has been throughout his career. I get it, there's a lot of new parts on this defense, there's been a lot of coaching turnover, and he's taking it on himself to make sure everyone else is doing their jobs.

There's a reason you have coaches and coordinators and playbooks though, no single player is that good. Luke has been caught in coverage and guessing wrong at the line of scrimmage a lot this season, and I think it's because he's trying to play 7 positions in his head instead of just middle linebacker. 

There's nothing wrong with him folks, he's 27 years old, no major injuries and the concussions didn't make him dumb. If anything he's basically outsmarting himself at this point.

I hate the black people that have to take shots at Luke to cover for Cam’s shortcomings and I hate the white people that have to take shots at Cam to cover for Luke’s shortcomings. They’re both future Hall of Fame players and are the least of our problems, although neither is perfect and neither have been at the top of their games this year.

      Say you don't understand PFF without saying you don't understand PFF... Every week seems like some of the same people are complaining about something they clearly don't understand.  I'm not saying they are the end all resource out there but once you understand their methodology you can start to appreciate some of their work. For example, their grading system isn't a high school grading system, try to look at some of it in relative terms.  Rico had an 82 rushing grade, that's pretty good.  I would be curious to know how that compares to every other running back this past weekend. Also, I think he had a few penalties, which if I'm not mistaken are graded pretty harshly.

      Can we go back to square one for a minute and remember what we paid for this guy and how he was sold?  He was like, the anti excuse. Makes everybody better, Did we get that?  I think the answer is still coming but so far you might can say that for a game or two.  Cam had issues with personnel every season almost. Horrible OL, but he had receivers. Decent to good OL no receivers. Etc. Bryce needs to stand up, or keep standing up, however you want to put it. It is big boy time in year 3. He doesn’t have to make the playoffs but there is a standard. We’ll see what happens.  But the excuses are just fuging tired.  ps, I mean let’s not crown him when he has franchise record production in two wins,.. let’s see when they stop that, how he does then.

      Where do you draw line top3 or top 5 money then? I wish he goes for a "hometown" deal and doesn't try and reset market but it's going to be tough to argue not paying him BIG MONEY if he continues do be a stabilizing force on the left side of line. DM got some tough decisions to make at the OT position coming up.
