Dear Ron Turner and Norv Rivera, more Samuel, please.

Curtis Samuel is a legitimate offensive weapon and playmaker.  He was drafted in the second round, man.  He provides a spark---hell, a jolt on offense when he is in the game. The end zone is a real thing for him whenever he touches the ball and not just some myth.  He is more than some gadget player that was drafted late or some UDFA whose claim to legitimacy is special teams or excelling against everyone but starters.  Stop treating Samuel as such!  Get number 10 into the game early and often so that he can get into the flow of the game,  develop a rhythm, and provide Cam with an explosive weapon that can get open at will or at least more times than not.  I respect Smith and Wright, and both made key plays today. They don't have the play making ability of Samuel though, so let's get Samuel more involved in the game going forward.

Sincerely,  Top Dawg of the Carolina Huddle.

Funchess-x( Torrey Smith Sub)

Dj Moore-Y/Z (Damiere Byrd Sub)

Curtis Samuel-Z/Y (Jairus Wright Sub)

This is the most legit WR corps we have had in a long while, and throw Olsen in the mix and we are dangerous before we even get to the back field.  I'm still concerned that the coaches just can't seem to get the snap count in order. All these guys compete but Samuel, Moore and Funchess should be on the field more.

How can Norv not see this?

    • Yeah well I was agaisnt Hurney coming back and then helping hire Rhule but it happened anyways. Tepper has made it so bad and it's still ongoing currently.
    • Yeah, that "Me against the world" mentality can work....when you are right and know what you are doing. But if you don't know what you are doing and can't accept that you need to learn, that is an impossible hill to climb.
    • I can’t argue too hard with established track records. Just hope because it has happened before.   I think it takes massive and embarrassing failure. It isn’t hard to conceptualize the general truism that success in one field does not guarantee success in another. I have had to experience that in my the hard way before, dealing with a self made millionaire friend.  Getting them to understand that is very difficult. I had to part ways to escape it 30 years later, he still hasn’t learned. But he isn’t my problem anymore….  Tepper cannot be excised so easily.
