2 VERY winnable games ahead

Baltimore will have the best defense we’ve faced all season. It’s arguable they have the best in the NFL right now.

That’s the one I’m worried about the most out of all our future games - even moreso than the Saints. They have an offense that can do stuff and an elite defense to pair.

Ravens got the best D in the NFL. That game gonna be a real tough one.

Gonna need much better offense than we have shown of late to win.

Context is everything. They played the Bills, Broncos, Browns, and Titans. Not exactly offensive jugernauts. Andy Dalton shredded them and Brees shredded them in the 2nd half. If we wanna be a playoff contender this is a game we really should win

baltimore did hold brees in check for most of the game.

if it wasn't for a missed extra point by tucker, they might have won that game.

on the other hand, it's kind of crazy to think the Panthers are essentially two plays away from being 6-0

the endzone pass to Moore against Atlanta where he almost made a miraculous catch underneath two defenders

the endzone pass to CmC against Washington where he had 2 steps on the defender and Cam slightly overthrew him

if we converted those two plays, we're sitting at 6-0 right now

Baltimore has a balanced defense from top to bottom, but the Eagles have the best rotation of DL in the league and IMO are a tougher matchup for this offense than Baltimore. I do agree that the Panthers cant afford to get down early, have to start fast and put pressure on BAL offense.

Baltimore did look good defensively. They will, however, be facing a completely different look from our offense than they got this past week.

And Tampa could be on the verge of either a breakthrough or a break-up. Schizo teams are always hard to play. Maybe they'll have decided who they are before they get to us.

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
