This is BS.  Ertz was looking for a cheap shot on Reid, and Reid took his ass down.

Not really BS. I'd expect our players to jump on a player if someone hit Cam when he clearly handed the ball off. 

That being said, Reid won't be missing the money.

I'm fine with Reid being fined but if fine Reid you absolutely have to fine Ertz as well since that incident never occurs with Ertz coming at him.

Why would Reid be fined? All he did was avoid Ertz who charged at him. Ducking a guy charging at you is unnecessary now? What’s he supposed to do let Ertz wreck him after the whistle? Reminds me of Sunshine in Remember the Titans.

Edit: Watching it back now, I was wrong. I thought I saw the ref toss a flag after the hit on Wentz but was mistaken. They didn't throw one until after the whole Ertz thing. Kind of surprising to be honest.

How do they fine him for the Ertz stuff, but not the Wentz late hit? Ertz initiated that bullshit because of the roughness ok Wentz...this fuging league man

Had to be a mix up some where because the replays of the events show that he was flagged for the hit on Wentz and not for the hit on Ertz.

I'm assuming he was flagged for both maybe, I didnt tune in until the 4th

You don’t have to be flagged for something to receive a fine

Well, the refs called 2 fouls on it. One on Reid and the other on Ertz which offset so it resulted in a replay of the down. I'm not sure but if it was two on Reid and one on Ertz then it would have moved the ball in their favor wouldn't it? NFL rules are hard to keep track of in certain situations lol.

True, though I would assume they would be more concerned with the hit on Wentz considering the whole "Protecting the QB" stuff they have been emphasizing this season, which is why I figure there was a mix up some where. I don't know, like I said, hard to tell with how the NFL deals with fines.

During the broadcast they said Reid wasn’t flagged for the hit on Wentz, saying he could have missed the fact he got rid of the ball.  They said it was offsetting UC flags on Reid and Ertz for the tussle.  Therefore they should both get fined.

Yeah you're right. Just got a little better quality video of it and the refs didn't throw a flag until the whole Ertz thing. I'm surprised Wentz didn't make a bigger fuss than he did about that hit with the refs. So in this case, yeah, either fine both or neither of them.
