Mario Addison Is quietly having his best sack season to date.  With his stellar 3 sack game today, he is up to 7.5 sacks at the halfway point.  His best season to date was last year with 11 sacks.  There's no guarantee that he will get to 15, but I think he deserves some love for being a bright spot on a forgetful defensive front.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but it seemed like most of his sacks yesterday were clean-ups. Someone else applied the initial pressure and forced the play to/for him to get the sack.

Even on a meh day, Mario is solid. While the sacks yesterday were often clean-up ones, it shows the guy is hustling AND in the right position. That's some serious vet credentials there. He's a vital part of our defense and doesn't get any credit for it.

without the cleanups who knows what happens.  think about all the times they dont clean up on cam.  Fitzpatrick isnt exactly a statue

One of those clean-ups was for initial pressure from Poe, which was nice to see. 

I'm still concerned about the pass rush. If Brees' pocket is clean, we're toast.
