Not even close.

I’m just not incompetent and don’t expect the Panthers to sign Ladanian Tomlinson to be the RB3.

My guy. Look at his career splits lol. He did nothing outside of NO, including in NE. Literally the only place he was mildly successful was NO, and he was given a chance to be Reggie, Sproles, Kamara here.

He's a 3rd RB, so it's not a big deal. But dudes just not a good RB.

MillionDollarCam trying to act like he knows this guy...let him try to look clever.  It’s kinda funny.

He played one game for New England...

He was fine for y’all, and you know it. Not an elite third down running back but a Fozzy Whittaker type.

I don’t know why our fan base thought we were going to sign a big time back when it’s obvious that Norv prefers one workhorse that fits his offense.

Calling him fine is a overstatement lol.

Like I said, 3rd RB. Not a big deal.

He was here in 2016, so probably, but I doubt much of the terminology is the same. With as much roster turnover as there is in the NFL, you have to be pretty incompetent to not change things up from year to year.

How hard is it to know—-Throw ball in general area of 13....run 41...throw to 41...run 22....repeat.

Pretty sure that’s all he has done this year? Last year don’t mean poo.

It's actually not.  He played in some of the early games and looked pretty good doing so.

And again, you never part ways with good depth.  If something happened to McCaffrey, Anderson could have stepped in and still been starter quality. Artis-Payne?  Not so much.

There's just no good reason to make your roster depth worse, especially if you wanna go on a playoff run.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
