Everything is about the money!  Life is rigged too in case you haven't noticed it or not.  Think about all the problems we have right now and short of probably 1 or 2 exceptions its all about money. 

Oh and btw integrity is a tool that people in power use to keep the others thinking that they aren't screwing them over.

I agree, I’m about done with pro sports as a whole.

Watching the games is much more enjoyable and relaxing once you realize it's nothing but a business of entertainment. As soon as you stop investing your personal funds into fan gear, grossly over priced seats, $14 beer, etc., and decide to watch the game for what it is, life becomes so much more than a football game.

While professional sports showcases the best of the best, if you think college athletics is more of a purist's dream, you're not giving it the same scrutiny. In 2014, it was estimated, fairly accurately, that each home game at Ohio State University delivered $7.1M in revenues to the school. The entire athletic program at that time was estimated to be in the neighborhood of $167-170M, and the football program alone provides over 30% of that $167-170M every year. 

If you don't believe college athletics is just as corrupted by money as the professional leagues, you're watching with blinders on.
