Stop overreacting, Cam has these types of game annually

He can’t throw deep balls, his shoulder needs surgery and is a question mark going forward because of it.  We need to draft a QB as a hedge

We really do need to start looking for the future at the position.  Don’t see him getting any better as a passer.  I know, “but he’s had a career year with meaningless stats”. His clutch time performance has been, for the most part, horrendous this season.   Once his legs really start to decline with age, it won’t be good.

You are all missing the point which I have said from day one...…….A big running QB that can extend plays with runs like a back or a tight end will have a limited career in the NFL. In Cam's case if his rotator cuff is not the end of his career will have something else show up to end it. As it is the injury has already compromised his passing now if not for good.

Rotator cuffs are serious and perplexing issues to repair and ever work right again.

The longest lasting most successful QBs in the NFL are pocket passing leaders...…...athletic fast running ones don't last long...…

Cam will never be the pocket passer he needed to be and now isn't even trading bait...…..

This team needs to start all over...……..fire Hurney, Rivera and cut Cam...………..

Start by building an O-line and get a QB who can manage a game and pass...…...

You are going to get burned for it but you are right. Cam isnt going to be getting any better.  He is on the downside of his career.

I feel like he's gonna go downhill after this season, just too many hits and shoulder problems here on out.  He is a great quarterback, just not elite in my opinion.  Need to fire Ron first and office changes before we can consider grooming another possible future quarterback to step up, only one way to find out and that's play'em.

lol......So I guess it's ok for Cam to have one of "these type" games he has annually in a "must win" game with the season on the line. Yeah, we should relax, everything is fine...Nothing to see here.

Sounds like a statement that fans of an organization that settles for mediocrity would say.

EVERYONE should be held accountable. Cam, particularly seemed like he wasn't aware, or didn't care about the significance of this game today. No sense of urgency that I could see. This team is toast this year, clearly.

Lame duck!

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
