30 COACHES the Packers are now considering

Might as well start with the Packers' list....fixed because the article could also apply to the Panthers in a few weeks:

"The Green Bay Packers  Carolina Panthers  fired head coach Mike McCarthy Riverboat Ron Rivera on Sunday, setting up the most important decision of Mark Murphy’s tenure as team president GM Marty Hurney (if he is still here) : Hiring the man who will oversee the final years of Aaron Rodgers’ Cam Newton's career in the NFL.

Make the right hire and Murphy Hurney or GM of the future could position the Packers Panthers to win go to another Super Bowl with Rodgers Newton. Make the wrong hire and the final years of RodgersNewton's career might look a lot like the last first four."

NOTE: Add McCarthy's name to this list

Aaron Rodgers looks better because of Mike not the other way around and the football world will find that out soon,..

Aaron isn’t as good as many put on him,..isn’t a winner— just a regular season stats boy,.. always folds in big games or when there’s any pressure. I don’t know how anyone elevates the man at all,..

When the new coach comes in, every one will blame it on Aaron’s injury,.. but more of the truth will come out— it’s Mike that makes Aaron.

I think there’s some truth to this, not largely, but Rodgers is very overrated.

Aaron is the GOAT. I hate the Packers but you can't deny what he can do when it's on his shoulders. More so than Brady or Manning. Rodgers has been held back because McCarthy on top of that team just cheaping out on weapons and poor drafting. Whens the last time Green Bay had a defense? Is Dom Capers still their d coordinator?

Cam has more 4th Quarter comebacks than Manning, Brady and Rodgers btw. And this fanbase does nothing but tell me how overrated or bad Cam is.

Could be...just like Andy Reid can coach not only McNabb but also Mahommes and even Alex Smith did well there. He'll get his chance.

Rodgers the GOAT

lmfao

I know right? Aaron can’t hold Cams jock strap,..

lets compare all of Cams records to Aaron’s,..

Aaron has done exactly POO and the team was only as good as Mike,..

people beat up Don Capers but his defense won them a Super Bowl,..

they had some bad drafts and Aaron hamstrung their budget as with most big name quarterbacks not named Brady or Cam Newton—(they both took team friendly deals unlike Manning, Brees Aaron and many others)

anyway,. Aaron is good,.. but he’s no Dan Marino,. Brett Favre, Tom Brady, hell hes not as good as Troy Aikman

This isn't a list of 30 candidates that the Packers ARE considering. It's a list of 30 candidates that they MAY BE considering. Big difference there.

Of course, but I provided the link and would have corrected the headline but then I thought, aside from LinvilleG--most people would realize the Packers do not already have a list of 30 coaches....

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
