You all are really overestimating the chances Ron is gone

It's not just this year's record. It's the fact that he's never put together back to back winning seasons. It's the fact that our division has figured him out. Both the Saints and Falcons have owned us since 2015. If you can't compete in your division you're left with trying to fight for a wildcard spot every year and no home playoff games. It's the fact that Tepper made it known how important that Steelers game was to him and we go up there and suffer one of the most embarrassing blowout losses we've ever had. It's the fact that Ron's teams have always improved down the stretch in seasons and this year we're falling apart. It's the fact that we have a roster full of young offensive skill players and a rapidly aging defense and Ron's philosophies can't consistently win with that makeup. It's the fact that our players consistently accept responsibility for their own shortcomings on the field while Ron and his coaches constantly deflecting any and all responsibility for any loss.

Steelers model fires GM's even less then coaches. They've had a total of 7 and even bad ones that did a terrible job stuck around for years on end.

Hurney is much safer then Rivera, but both are safe right now. If anything happens, odds are Hurney is helping Tepper hire a new coach in January.

Nothing before 1969 means anything as far as the Steelers go. When Dan Rooney took control. Before that, they were the worst organization in pro sports. None of the 3 since then were kept after poor performance. Keep context to it.

There will be a purge. He didn’t pick these coaches/FO and none of them has the resume to deserve the job going forward.

From the Saints forum.

"RR is not the biggest problem that franchise has. Cam Newton is a horrible qb and he has the blind loyalty of a large part of the organisation and fan base. The dudes career stats is right on par with the great Jay Cutler! They are paying a (pretty average) running back 20 mil a year to try and throw the football. There are some rough years ahead for that organisation and fan base."

Since 2015? The 15-1 year? I think you mean 2016.
