Cam was in MVP conversation JUST last month

All these hot thread takes about Cam are just trash.

Yes he has had bad games but one thing about Cam, he NEVER throws anyone under the bus and always takes personal responsibility.

Our 6-2 downhill starts at the top which is COACHING, not with Cam.

So he needs more weapons and olineman? Going to have to disagree, that story is getting old.

Cam is going to be Cam. His faults, by this point will remain his weaknesses despite what people want to think and it’s something we have to accept.

That said Cam needs something to succeeed and win with these faults and that’s a defense to bail him out when he needs it. Cam is a chance taker and must have that defense backing him up to do so.

If I had to pick one position to help Cam it would be a DE to actually get pass rush on the field. The best weapon this franchise has given Cam except this year was a top 5 defense as I’ve said for years now. Take that away and give him offensive ‘weapons’ and you’re still stuck dealing with his shortcomings except now with a weak defense to counteract any of it.

Anyone who watches the game knows his shoulder is hurt and that he will have a “cleanup” come January. They should have it now....but we will see. Cam is still talented and everyone was on his jock a couple weeks ago before the injury got worse.

Jeez... Cam has had some Miracle throws too though... I still remember that short TD pass to Dickson in 15, where he threaded an impossible needle. I think it was against ATL. Get healthy Cam.

How is the story getting old when it's never been addressed? I mean Funchess our supposed #1 WR has been effectively benched the past 4 games and Cams last #1 WR has been cut by two teams. Our online has been a wet noodle for Cam almost his entire career. What's getting old is not fixing this poo.

Can does not need a number 1 wr example: 2015. CMC, Moore and Wright are plenty for a qb of his caliber. Cams online, while not perfect, believe it or not is ranked above average this year and close to ranking to the 2015 online. That’s including the fact cam holds on to the ball longer than most all starting qbs in this league. Due to his style and lack of a play caller to help him.

Cam needs a defense, not a #1 recover, to thrive in this league and take the chances that he needs to, that brings out the elite side of Cam- it’s evident going into a decade of playing.

Needs a real play caller as well which is really and truley something he has not been given.

Sorry bro but if you think this line is giving Cam enough time to,actually effect a game or that Samuel,Moore,or Wright can highpoint a ball in the end zone you live in a fantasy world and I can't help you. He might not need JJ or OBJ but he needs the right role players and a solid line like Brees and any other QB.

A ‘solid’ line? Lol This is obviously your fantasy world because the Saints literally have the best oline in the NFL. Bree’s literally holds on to the ball the shortest in the NFL.

Funchess was suppose to be that guy so other than a possession WR I can’t see your point.

Our oline has done a lot for the run game though. 9/10 CMC should be seeing that ball come endzone time.
