The draft is a crapshoot. Picking high doesn't guarantee a pro bowl player.

If there was a re-draft Moore would be a top 10-15 pick (you can find great players late in the bottom half).

Having a larger available talent pool doesn't hurt though. In fact, it's all we have to look forward to

Falcons will pass us for sure once they beat us, Packers will definitely win one of two to pass us. That’s 10th. Lions could win one of two and the Bucs could conceivably destroy Atlanta once they’re fat and happy after beating us.

That’s got us picking ninth. That ain’t bad.

Only thing that concerns me

Especially after the Rams lost last night.

We could lose tonight and next week.

And the Aints still screw us and sit the starters, we win and drop our spot 3-5 positions

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
