Luke Kuechly deserves keys to the city

Luke looked confused all year long.... UNTIL RR started calling the defensive plays. You wanna know how bad a DC can make a defense? You limit and befuddle one of the best ever with stupid calls.

You can tell Luke is clicking mentally with the calls and he’s in full attack mode. We really screwed this season with a Washington.

And keys to your house. He is the man, and we are not worthy. Appreciate this man and pie in his honor.

well yeah since ron took over he performed.. its yet another reason why ron needs to be fired for letting washington be DC for so long.

Yea Luke played lights out . Have to say TD looked like dam good too. Like the old days (almost)

Like that song - “I’m not as good as I once was but I’m as good once, as I ever was”

TD looked good, except for the one 3rd down late when he was one on one on the edge with 41. Granted, not many guys make that tackle, but TD58 of three or four years ago does.

Yea agree, if not for that missed tackle he would have had an A+ game from what I could see. Pretty impressive at this stage of his career.

Makes that tackle by Reid in open field look pretty good. If Reid would wrap up a little more his value goes way up to me.

Not to derail the OP- Luuuuuuuke

With the way Davis has played since his return I would absolutely offer him a one year contract for next year AS LONG AS ITS AT A CHEAP PRICE. we have so many holes to fill, it may be mutually benificial for both of us being that our draft and FA we have to address DE, DT, Slot CB, maybe safety, guard, possibly center, and now backup qb

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
